Airbrush Tattoos
So here is how it basically works. We charge by the hour not per tattoo. You can request our tattoo service by itself or as part of one of our Airbrush Party Packages. We bring a selection on tattoo stencils for your guests to choose a chair and airbrush set-up. Your guests choose the design, colors, and location. The average airbrush tattoo take about a minute and the ink dries instantly. The life of a temporary tattoo varies from 2 days to a week depending on several factors such as skin type, frequency of washing, and location on the body.

Common Questions
Q: How are the airbrush tattoos applied?
A: First the area where it will be applied to is cleaned with alcohol. Then, using a stencil and an airbrush, the design is sprayed onto the skin. Finally a dusting of powder and you are ready to go. The whole process takes less than 3 minutes.
Q: How long does and airbrush tattoo last?
A: Three days to a week depending on several factors.
- Skin type. (oily vs. dry)
- The location on the body matters. Areas that sweat more or are subject to friction will not last as long.
- Tattoos are water resistant but will rub off. When showering wash around the area and pat dry with a towel.
- Warm conditions or strenuous activity (anything that makes you sweat) will shorten the lifespan of your tattoo.
- Talc or baby powder will help to increase the lifespan of your tattoo.
Q: It this safe?
A: Our temporary tattoo inks are specifically created for the skin. They are not-toxic, hypo-allergenic and are made of all FDA approved cosmetic ingredients.
Q: Does the application it hurt.
A: Not a bit. Nothing touches the skin but air and ink. It might tickle, however.
Q: Is this anything like Henna (Mehndi) tattoos?
A: No. There are plenty of advantages to airbrush tattoos over henna.
Henna is limited to one color only (russet-brown in varying shades and intensities) but temporary tattoo
paint is available in a wide spectrum of colors and shades.
Henna takes a long time to apply, and temporary tattoo paint takes just a minute or two, depending on the size of the design applied, making it a lot more adaptable to a wider age group.
Henna tattoos cost a lot more because of the length of time required to apply it.
Henna takes about half an hour to fully dry, and has to remain on the skin for at least 4 hours for
maximum benefit before removing the thick crust that puts the stain on your skin. Temporary tattoos dry immediately and are instantly ready to be “shown off.”
Henna tattoos can last a lot longer, sometimes up to one month depending on the part of the body they are applied to, and you can’t remove them whenever you want. Airbrush tattoo’s can be removed at anytime with oil or alcohol.
Q: What do I need to provide for an airbrush tattoo party?
A: Just the people and an 8×8 space. Good lighting helps.
Q: Can you provide a custom stencil of out logo?
A: Yes. Please provide the artwork a minimum of one week ahead. Extra charges apply.
Q: How do I remove my airbrush tattoo?
A: Airbrushed tattoos are easily removable with 70% isopropyl alcohol or baby oil.
Q: Are you licensed and insured?
A: Yes. Sure Shot Airbrush is registered with the State of Florida, licensed in Pasco County, and insured with Accord Insurance for $1,000,000.00.
Q: What is your experience? Do you have any references?
A: I have been airbrushing professionally since 1993. I have owned two airbrush stores and painted for events such as fund raisers, birthday parties, college events, and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. 95% of my business comes from referrals.
